Brenda graduated from the College of Integrated Chinese Medicine in the UK in 2000. Since returning to NZ, Brenda has worked in Newmarket and the Hibiscus Coast and returned to her home town of Warkworth in 2012. Brenda is a registered member of the BACC (British Acupuncture Council) and the NZASA (NZ Acupuncture Standard Authority Inc.). She is committed to continuing professional development on a regular basis and has a special interest in sports injury and pain relief.

Janice is originally from South Korea, moving to NZ when she was sixteen years old. Janice studied health sciences majoring in public health at the University of Auckland and graduated from the New Zealand College of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Auckland in 2010.

Janice is a registered member of the NZASA (NZ Acupuncture Standard Authority Inc.) and the NZCMAS (NZ Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture Society). She is committed to Continuing Professional Development on a regular basis and has a special interest in the care of elderly.

Nick Merwood has been a practising professional massage therapist for fifteen years and has recently returned to the profession he loves after two years of travel and self-experience.

Nick is an intuitive mind, body therapist, assisting your body’s innate ability to heal. Nick uses a combination of bodywork techniques including cranial/sacral, reflexology, muscle release, deep tissue, lymphatic drainage and the Pfrimmer technique. Nick’s speciality is hot stone massage which can be combined with any other technique.

Nicole was born and raised here in Warkworth. She left the area to study and travel, returning in 2001 to open Elocin Specialty Foods, a gluten-free bakery. In 2015 Nicole closed Elocin Specialty Foods, graduated from Massey University with a Science and Technology Graduate Certificate in Human Nutrition, and now works as a Nutritionist.

Nicole is a member of the Nutrition Society of New Zealand. She is committed to continuing professional development on a regular basis and has a special interest in nutrition for those with food allergy/intolerance and the elderly. When it comes to nutrition, Nicole focuses on the fact that no one size fits all: we are each very different in what we need (and like) to make us happy and healthy, and finding that out is part of this fantastic ride we call life.

Taka has 15 years healing experience in Japan and New Zealand. Originally from Tokyo, Taka moved to Queenstown in November 2012 before moving to Warkworth in 2016.

Taka graduated in Japan after studying authentic Shiatsu massage, Taiwanese reflexology and acupuncture in 2002. Taka travelled to China, Thailand and India to assimilate other oriental healing techniques and after 10 years working in Tokyo, Taka moved to New Zealand as he was fascinated with nature. After living in Queenstown for 3½ years, Taka moved to Warkworth in 2016 where he lives with his young family. His mission is to show how beneficial Shiatsu massage is.

Taka is a registered member of the Shiatsu Practitioners’ Association of Aotearoa (SPAA (NZ) Ltd).
